• Insurance and assistance
Regards d’Ailleurs has negotiated insurance and assistance contracts with THS and CEDIV so that you can enjoy a worry-free holiday. Frequently, payment via a credit card, in particular Visa Premier or Gold Mastercard will insure you for a certain amount of travel every year, and within certain limits ; it is worthwhile comparing insurance offers, particularly if you are travelling outside the EEC or in the USA.

We propose three types of insurance :

•ANNULATION (Cancellation) PLUS : covers only risks BEFORE departure (see conditions page 12 in the leaflet you will receive when you book your travel.)

•MULTIRISK insurance: covers risks BEFORE departure and DURING your travel (flight delays, loss of luggage, repatriation, medical expenses, interruption of your holiday …)

•COMPLEMENTARY insurance : covers the same risks as the MULTIRISK in 2 above, except repatriation. This insurance can be useful for those who simply wish to complete other personal insurance policies (bank cards, household, car) which already include repatriation assistance

• For holidays including an initiation or the practice of a sport...
Parapente, ULM, Deltaplane, Parachute, Ballooning :
The weather determines if these activities can take place or not. The professional in charge will advise you the day before if the activity is confirmed. For your security, he or she alone can decide if the flight conditions are suitable.

Remember, sunshine can be accompanied by strong winds...

For parachuting, a medical certificate stating that there are no counter-indications to the practice of this sport must be supplied.

Required level of ability : no previous experience is required, because in our programmes you will always be accompanied by a professional. The enjoyment of open-air activities, and a taste for excitement are sufficient...!

If the programme has not been able to take place as planned, the Agency Regards D’Ailleurs will give you a voucher valid for one year. This voucher can be offered to a third party, if you wish.
ATTENTION : cancellation of the sports programme in no way means the cancellation of the whole holiday. To cancel the holiday in its entirety, please refer to the particular sales conditions of the Agency.

Mountaineering :
Some minimum sporting activity is advised before departure. Some high-altitude activities require previous experience: only a professional mountain guide, in relation with the Agency Regards D’Ailleurs, can evaluate your capacities.

If you are not a regular walker, a holiday “en étoile” (returning every night to the same lodging) and low gradients (not too many “ups and downs”) are good indicators of a reasonably easy trek.
