Through deserts, steppes and mountains, this journey follows the caravan trail which linked East and West.
Visits : Almaty and the museum of kasakh musical instruments. Transfer by road to Xinjiang, then lake Sairam, the Buddhist grottos at Bezelik, the ancient fortified town of Jiaohe, Kashgar and its Sunday market. Transfer to Kirghistan by road, then the caravanserai at Tosh Rabat, Lake Son Kul and its nomad tribes, Lake Issy Kul, Kirghizstan history musem at Bichkek.
