Wide-ranging tour in the south of Peru, to discover the geographical riches of the country, Inca and pre-Inca civilization, the colonial past and Andine traditions. Our path will take us to all the "must go-to" places but with a quest for adventure and contact with local people. The tour finishes with a three-day trek in the Vilcabamba Cordillera, using ancient Incan paths between the Salcantay and Humantay glaciers, and then through fields of orchids, water-falls and ruins leading to the hidden city of Machu Picchu.
Highlights : Puerto Inca, remains of Uyo-uyo and the still relatively undiscovered site of Llactapata.
